It's no secret that I'm a fan of Neal's Yard Remedies - but I'd definitely recommend the new beauty sleep concentrate. This lovely product is proof that it's not only a good night's sleep and lots of water that can improve your skin. A blend of sage, cypress, orange oil, patchouli, ylang ylang, grapeseed oil and cocoa seed butter help to aid cell restoration and the lovely smell might help just help to soothe you off to sleep! Apply just before you go to bed and it can help boost the skin's moisture levels by 98 per cent.

Most of the shampoos I've tried without chemicals are either expensive or ineffective. Try REN's Oat and Bay conditioning shampoo. This has bay oil to stimulate new growth and lemon oil to cleanse the hair. It's free from all harsh sulfate detergents and synthetic colours. It's £6.50 for a 100ml bottle so it won't break the bank and goes a long way.

For a stand out look try Bobbi Brown's award-winning Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. It lasts all day, it's water resistant and really makes a difference to how you look. Burt's Bees Anti-Blemish Targeted Spot Treatment is a great way to zap those zits - and it's only £9.99. It works brilliantly on inflamed spots and irritations but because of its natural ingredients, it doesn't irritate the skin. It contains Tea Tree, Calendula, Yarrow and Parsley extracts to help troubled skin and to reduce redness and it smells fantastic. Currently one of my favourite products.

Today I'd like to recommend Jane Iredale's Just Kissed Lip Plumper - £18.35 at jimakeup.co.uk. This can apparently stimulate collagen and make your lips look fuller without causing any pain. It also contains oils of lemon and tangerine to exfoliate dead skin cells leaving your lips soft and kissable.

Aveda's Ancient Attar Pure-fume Spirit Aroma Spray is a great choice for anyone looking for a natural perfume. It's aroma and formula are 100 per cent naturally derived and it gives you what I think is a lovely soft, feminine aroma. It contains certified organic rose oil, sandalwood oil, certified organic rose geranium oil and certified organic neroli oil. You can apply to pulse points or anywhere on the body and the scent lasted for several hours before needing a top up. There's a similar version for men too.

Fancy a splurge for Easter? Dr Andew Weil has produced a Mega-Bright Skin tone correcting serum for Origins. It is expensive - £46 for a 30 ml bottle - but you only need a tiny amount. Today I'd like to recommend Clinique's Chubby Stick Moisturising Colour Lip Balm- basically a lipstick and lip balm all in one. I love that they're paraben free and because they're unscented, they don't contain nasty phthalates either. And while Clinique lipsticks do contain some petrochemicals, such as silicones, they are also loaded with vitamins and even acai berry which helps to keep the lips moisturised.

When it comes to eyeliner, for the most part I believe you get what you pay for. Cheap eyeliners tend to smudge but MAC's Technakohl liner won't disappoint. This one has good staying power. I'm on my third and have no doubt I'll buy another. This one is paraben free, though beware that the same can't be said for all of MAC's products.
